Thousands of mourners attended the funeral of Father Jacques Hamel’s, which took place at Rouen Cathedral.
The Catholic Priest, 86, died after being forced to kneel by his killers Adel Kermiche and Abdelmalik Petitjean before the barbaric pair slit his throat in his church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray.
The funeral Mass was held at the 11th-century Gothic cathedral, situated just a few miles from the scene where Father Jacque Hamel was murdered.
The Mass was followed by a private burial at an undisclosed location.
