Good Friday Reflection

How beautiful it will be when we all, at the end of our lives, with our errors and our faults, as well as our good deeds and our love of neighbor, can say to the Father as Jesus did:

” It is finished. “

Pope Francis.

Heavenly Father, with these words, Jesus completed the sacrifice for our salvation, borne of blood and pain and suffering, but endured through an endless offering of love. Jesus, when I look at you on the cross, I am sad and frightened. I am sad at what you had to go through, but frightened that you ask the same of me. Give me yourself today, Lord, that you might make me an endless offering of love so that at the end of my life, I, too, can pray confidently, “It is finished.” Amen.
