Pope Francis on March 11, 2018, encouraged participants in the first “Vatican Hackathon in his remarks following the praying of the Angelus with the crowds in St. Peter’s Square:
“A special greeting goes to the university students from different parts of the world, gathered in the first “Vatican Hackathon,” promoted by the Dicastery for Communication. Dear young people, it”s good to put the intelligence, which God gives us, at the service of truth and of the neediest.
