Fifteenth Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, whose theme is
“€œYoung People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment”€, will open on Wednesday
morning, 3 October, with Pope Francis presiding over the concelebration of the
Eucharist in St. Peter”€™s Square. Cardinals and prelates from all over the
world, together with men and women religious, experts and auditors “€“ including
34 young persons between the ages of 18 and 29 — and fraternal delegates
representing other churches and ecclesiastical communities will gather with the
