“€œYoung People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment”€, will open on Wednesday

Eucharist in St. Peter”€™s Square. Cardinals and prelates from all over the world, together with men and women religious, experts and auditors “€“ including 34 young persons between the ages of 18 and 29 — and fraternal delegates
representing other churches and ecclesiastical communities will gather with the Pope to begin a journey that will conclude on 28 October, after 25 days of reflection and discussion.

The schedule for Wednesday afternoon includes the opening of the works in the new
Synod Hall with the first General Congregation. Following the greetings of the
President Delegate on duty and Pope Francis, Cardinal Lorenzo Baldisseri, Secretary General, and Sérgio da Rocha, General Relator, will give theirnreports.
